again, i've never made anything like this before... don't be too harsh :) it only took me one day to complete, &then another few days to paint &seal. i'm working on another right now for a friend. it's nice to have something creative to do to keep my mind off of stressful shit.

a short visit with sandy &a long voicemail from eyeball cheered me up immensely last night. scraping change together for a bottle of wine helped too. i really wish i could see sandy more, she's one of the very few "good" people that i know. ej &rebecca, too.

today i'm going to hopefully pick up the last piece of paperwork that i need to get state insurance, &then brave the des office on monday. they HAVE to give me insurance. i'm dying.
once i have that, &quit smoking... i know my health will improve immensely. i'm just impatient. &afraid i don't have that kind of time.
